Material Grade:

Commercially Pure Zirconium: Zr1 (R60700, CP1), Zr3 (R60702, CP2), Zr4 (R60704, CP4) - Excellent corrosion resistance.

Zirconium Alloys: Zr5 (R60705, Zr-Nb 2.5%) - Enhances strength, creep resistance, and high-temperature oxidation resistance compared to pure zirconium, especially suitable for nuclear-grade and high-strength structural applications.

Manufacturing Process & Quality Control

High-Purity Melting & Bar Forming: Utilizing advanced vacuum melting (VAR/EB Melting) technology to produce high-purity zirconium ingots. Subsequently, zirconium bars are manufactured through rigorously controlled forging, hot rolling, and precision cold drawing and/or cold rolling processes, ensuring their density, uniformity, and superior mechanical properties.

Precision Heat Treatment: Implementing precise annealing treatments to relieve processing stress, optimize grain structure, and ensure the material's ductility, mechanical properties, and long-term stability in use.

High-Precision Machining: Offering turning, grinding, polishing, and other machining services to ensure precise bar dimensions and surface finish, meeting high-precision application demands.

Rigorous Quality Testing (INSPECTIONS):

Raw Material Inspection: Strict chemical composition analysis (Spectro Test), including control over trace impurities.

Internal Flaw Detection: Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Eddy Current Testing (ET) are performed on finished bars to ensure the absence of internal cracks, inclusions, porosity, and other defects.

Geometric Dimensions & Visual Inspection: Precise measurement of diameter, length, straightness, ovality, and high-precision visual and automated inspection for surface defects (e.g., scratches, indentations).

Pressure Testing: Hydrostatic testing or pneumatic testing.

Mechanical Properties Testing: Tensile Test (Elongation, Yield Strength, Tensile Strength), Hardness Test, Impact Test, Bend Test, etc.

Metallographic Analysis: Evaluation of grain size and microstructure to ensure conformity with standards and final application requirements.

Corrosion Testing: Corrosion tests in specific corrosive media (e.g., ASTM G28, G48) are performed to verify durability in harsh chemical environments.

Nuclear-Grade Performance Testing:  Low thermal neutron capture cross-section testing can be performed.

Traceability: Comprehensive material reports are provided, ensuring complete traceability from raw material to final bar/rod, with support for independent third-party certification.
