Ti Bar Description

1. Material:

Usually made of pure titanium or titanium alloy, such as TA1 (GR1) , TA2 (GR2) , TA3 (GR3) , TC4 (GR5) , etc. 

Titanium alloys can be divided into α alloys, (α+β) alloys and β alloys according to the phase composition, represented by TA(American standard represents Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 or Gr7, Gr11, etc.), TC (American standard represents GR5, etc.), TB (American standard does not have a special "β alloy" grade, usually represented by specific composition, such as Ti-15-3.).

2. Shape and size:

Usually cylindrical, some are rectangular.

The diameter range is wide, ranging from a few millimeters to hundreds of millimeters, and common specifications are 6mm-500mm.

The length is generally between 1 meter and 12 meters, which can be customized according to needs. 

3. Characteristics:

High strength:

Titanium rods have a high strength-to-weight ratio, and their strength is higher than many other metals at the same weight. 

Corrosion resistance:

Titanium has excellent corrosion resistance to seawater, chlorine, various acids and alkalis, etc., and can maintain good performance in harsh environments. 

Biocompatibility:

Titanium has good compatibility with human tissues and is not easy to cause rejection reactions, so it is widely used in the medical field.

Lightweight:

Titanium has a low density, which allows titanium rods to reduce the weight of the structure and improve overall performance.

5. Manufacturing process:

Usually vacuum melting, forging, rolling and other processes are used for production.
